ARTIST OF THE MONTH
Showing at the Hampton Bays Library, in the Helen Gould Room: The works of the Suffolk County branch of The National League of American Pen Woman. The national organization was formed 110 years ago by career woman in Washington D.C. including journalists, authors and illustrators.and have expanded to include art and music. In keeping with tradition. "The Pen Woman" which includes local artists, continue to axtively exhibit works af art and poetry in galleries and libaries throughout Long Island. In the lower lobby display cases will be displayed the work of sculpture of local artisan Julio Valazquez who incorporates the use of wire in his process. He is inspired by Alexander Calder, who transformed wire into an art form..

HAMPTON BAYS PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Hampton Bays Public Library invites you to join their Library Enhancement Program.  You can participate in this improvement of our fine library by purchasing a brick in the courtyard  This courtyard will record the names of families and friends of our community as bricks are purchased. Each brick is $100.00 and will be inscribed as you designate (up to 3 lines, with a maximum 13 letters and spaces per line). LOW VISION CENTER
The Hampton Bays Library with the cooperation of the Hampton Bays Lions Club is pleased to announce the opening of its Low Vision Center. Information is provided through pamphlets, circulars and booklets for persons with low vision.. Included are forms for persons with low vision who desire to receive tapes from the Long Island Talking Book Library program which is free of charge.

WORLD PREMIERE SCREENING
Third Wave Films and Hampton Bays Beautification Association present "TIDE AND TIME", The Maritime Heritage of Hampton Bays. The screening will take place in the Hampton Bays Secondary School Auditorium at 7:30 PM. This 45 minute documentary film shows how the waterways of Hampton Bays, have developed and sustained our hamlet for hundreds of years.
