Services & Collections The HBPL offers many services; CD-ROM databases, interlibrary loan, reference assistance, a public access personal computer with laser printer and access to the Internet. In addition, the library houses many different collections, including books, magazines, newspapers, large print books, compact disks, videocassettes, and books-on-tape. Programs The HBPL provides many adult programs. Some of which include musical and cultural programs, AARP defensive driving courses,informational lectures on various topics, book-author luncheons, and Spanish lessons. Children's programming includes Afterschool Storytime (for children in Kindergarten and grades 1-2), Preschool Storytime (for children ages 3-5), Mommy & Me (for children ages 2-3, with adult), and Book Babies (for children ages 12-24 months, with adult). Turn east onto Montauk Highway at the traffic light. At the second traffic light, make a right turn onto Ponquogue Avenue. Pass the post office, and go over the railroad tracks. The Library is located on the right side of the street, about 1/4 mile down. |
